Led Zeppelin / Grand Funk 1969 Cleveland Concert Poster

Year – 1969

Bands – Led Zeppelin, Grand Funk Railroad

Venue – Cleveland Public Hall

Led Zeppelin played to a packed house at Cleveland Public Hall on October 24, 1969. This was the second time in Northeast Ohio that year and their album “Led Zeppelin II” had just came out. It was billed as “A Scorpion Exposition” and people were supposed to bring a blanket and dancing was encouraged but Cleveland Fire and Police made the promoters put seating on the Public Hall floor at the last minute. Opening the show was Grand Funk Railroad. This was the second poster created for the show as the original opener was Joe Cocker.
